Certification of proficiency in Italian as a foreign language
The IT Certificate measures competence in Italian as a foreign language at a advanced level (C2). The exam takes place on the second Saturday of June each year and consists of 5 modules (Listening comprehension; written comprehension; Uses and Forms of Italian Grammar; composition; and spoken Italian) which may be taken in one sitting or over several years. The Certificate is valid for five years.

The certifications of Italian certify the proficiency in Italian as a foreign language.They are addressed to citizens of foreign countries, people with Italian roots living abroad and foreign immigrants living in Italy.
